Hi guys,
Long time no speak. How have you all been keeping?
I've just come back from a wonderful break in Bordeaux, South West of France, with my daughter.
It was my first time in La Perle d'Aquitaine (The Pearl of Aquitaine) and fell head over heels in love with its architecture, vibe and friendly people so much that I'm already planning my next trip over there!
I don't need to make mention of the quality of the wine over there since Bordeaux is the world's major wine capital as well as home to the world's main wine fair, Vinexpo.
Considering that I only started drinking a year ago, I have my fair share of catching up to do. Thank goodness Bordeaux was there to help me raise my game!
I came back reinvigorated and with a pretty head full of ideas and inspirations for the flat and other things I will talk to you about at a later stage (watch this space).
So, instead of enjoying the sun and like most Londoners have been doing these last couple of days, I've decided to tackle my biggest DIY job ever: painting the staircase/hallway walls.
Quick reminder of what they looked like when I moved in January:
Yuck, right?!!!
This is the view from the kitchen now:
I almost don't mind that carpet so much now.
I can't wait to show you the finished job! I think the place already looks so much better with that grey.
Do you agree?
xoxo.
